I am pretty transparent online. I post photos of the kids and I while we travel full time. I usually paint a pretty upbeat and optimistic outlook on our travels. Sometimes I think, I give the wrong impression to our followers. I don't intend to give the impression that we live a luxurious life or that the kids are perfect.
We have been stationary for a while now. We are gearing up to take off again on a new adventure to a new location. My mind is rather preoccupied with packing and downsizing our stuff. The kids getting outside, has been put on a back burner for a bit. As well the weather hasn't be great where we are. We have done a couple of weekend trips out of the city.
The last few days, the little boys have been fighting and bickering a lot. I find myself raising my voice more in the last few days. I know that this will pass once we are on the move again and I can focus more time on them.
However, my kids do argue and bicker and fight at times. All kids do. All toddlers and preschoolers and sometimes even older kids have tantrums as well. It happens.
It can be tough, especially when you fell like your family is always on display. Sometimes when we travel full time, it feels like everyone is always watching your family and your parenting. Whether it be locals, other travellers, followers on social media or family watching from afar. This can be a daunting task.
In our house we are pretty accustomed to meltdowns. With an autistic 7 year old and an energetic 4 year old, they are bound to happen! I have come to the conclusion that kids will behave like kids, no mater where you take them!
