Friends and Family

The friends and family we meet and connect with along our journeys make this lifestyle so worthwhile.

As we travel we meet so many amazing people. These people become like family for us. They take us into their hearts and homes and share so much with us.

My children are so lucky to grandparents in different countries! They have aunts and uncles all over. People who cherish my children for the unique individuals that they are.

We hold these friends and family dear to our hearts as we move around. We stay in contact with them through whatsapp and facebook.

I come from a very dysfunctional family. I have no contact with my biological parents because of abuse and other issues. Before we set off for full-time travel, I felt very isolated in my home with my kids. We didn't have a strong sense of community. We came from a large city where no one knew anyone else. People didn't just hang out together.

Then we started traveling and living in small local villages. My heart was so happy to find that everyone was accepting and loved us! We felt so welcome and part of the family. This was something that I had yearned for most of my life!
