10 Ways to Make Money While Traveling

Traveling full time can be possible if you can make money on the road!

One of the biggest concerns for those considering full time travel, is making an income while traveling. It can be scary to set out into the great unknown without a cushion to fall back on or at least some form of income.

Our family has been traveling since 2011. When we started traveling full time, I had no significant savings, I didn't have a remote job and I wasn't born rich. We left on a wing and blind faith that it would work out. It certainly couldn't get any worse than it already had been for us.

I learned about ways to make money as I went along. Here are ten ideas of ways to make money while you are traveling.

1. Teach English online - There are numerous ways to teach English online. Various companies to work for. Some require a 4 year degree in any field. www.vipkid.com is an optio for those with a degree. If you don't have a degree, don't despair, you can still teach English online! www.buddyschool.com is one option.

2. MLM - Companies such as It Works, Beach Body, Plexus, DoTerra and so many others might be an option. Many full time families do MLM companies to fund their lifestyle.

3. Be a tour guide - You can be a tour guide in your local city. You don't have to a native to the area, just know the area well enough to take tourists on a tour of the area. www.lokafy.com is a great company to do this thru. They pay $20/hour via PayPal. Airbnb also has a similar feature.

4. Teach something online using your skills- Create a course and teach it online!

5. Become a virtual assistant - If you're good with organizational skills and office skills maybe you can be a virtual assistant. There are all kinds of jobs being offered for this type of thing.

6. Offer your skills on www.fiverr.com and other temporary job boards.

7. Pet Sitting - I have done private pet sits in local areas for cash.

8. Photography Sessions - I was a photographer for years. I have done photography sessions in various locations. You can find jobs via facebook groups for where you will be, craigslist and other areas online.

9. Create things and sell online - Create things and sell them online. www.etsy.com and other such sites help you sell your wares. You can also sell via facebook etc.

10. Sell your used undies - I've sold my used undies online. www.pantydeal.com is a site I have used in the past. I have also found customers via ebay.
